So, I've decided that I must have some kind of attention deficit. I cannot keep doing the same exercise over and over (mostly walking or running). I lose interest. So. What. To. Do.???
I found a couple of classes that sound like fun at the Legacy Center - Zumba, water aerobics (yes, I know, I'm old), and a couple of Yoga classes. My only hang up is - I have to be a member to go at certain times (of course, the classes I want are during those times)...do I pay up and be glad they offer babysitting? Or, do I get a few videos and do them at home?

PAY UP sista! It's amazing how motivated I get when I want to get my $$'s worth! BTW, I've taken both my kiddos to the gym and they Love it!! It's like a playdate for them, and peace for you..bonus!
PAY UP is right! Home is rarely motivating. Too much other things to "do" or a couch to plop down on. I find it is actually more motivating and EASIER to take the kids to the gym with you. Especially in summer when colds and yucky bugs aren't so rampant.
Another thought, spice up walking or running at home with a change of music, adding hand or leg weights, making ridiculous challenges for yourself...stuff like that. Challenges like...walk for 60 seconds and then do a cartwheel..or run (like from a bear) to the end of the block before it's back to a walk or a slower jog. Stuff like that. I find it amazingly entertaining :)
Anna...i bet others find it entertaining, too, watchin the cartwheels, etc.
Melissa..i agreee with gym..more committed!. Good luck
Melis..I'm requesting a cartwheel!
