So, I'm over the pity party of boredom and nothingness! I spent my Saturday at my mom and dad's. Lacee planned to make freezer jam and I planned to visit and hang out. Dad and I took the boys on a ride with the mules. He has a 4-cart...a little cart with a seat (actually a bench seat from a car) that the mules pull around. It was very reminiscent of our pony cart we had as kids. Anyway, on our hour-long ride, both boys fell asleep. Maddux sleep about 45 minutes - he woke up when we stopped in the driveway; Luke slept about 20 minutes - he woke up from coughing (aw). It was a beautiful day to spend outside - sunshine, slight breeze, cool, but nice. I thought Mom and Lacee would be wrapping up the jam when we returned......wrong!
We figured it took about 4 1/2 hours to do 18 batches of raspberry jam. It was quite a "fruitful" day, ha ha! I found that I enjoyed making jam more than I thought I would, in fact, I might even help next time. It was a great day!
When we arrived home about 6(?), I walked in to a freshly cleaned home - scrubbed bathrooms, vacuumed carpets, mopped floors, and clutter-free. What a great guy I married. He did a fantastic job - THANKS!!
I'm enjoying my new outlook on life...each day truly has something to enjoy.

Could I hire Rich to come and clean my house?
MMMM...Freezer Jam! How about I make some bread and you bring the jam!!
Wow, a fun day with family and a clean house. You have a good life Melissa.
We did marry wonderful guys! However, my bathrooms STILL are not cleaned. Next time I'm leaving a list! By the way, you DID help-you occupied 2 2 year olds and dad, AND you went to the store! All I had to do was stir. Your job actually required effort!
