Epiphany

So I was satching Crook & Chase this morning. They often feature country music stars. I'm not up-to-date on who's who, but one of the performers sang a song that really struck a chord with me. I don't remember the title or any specific words. I do remember the message. As the song goes along, a little boy says a four-letter word. When his dad asks where he learned that, the little boy replies: I've been watching you. The little boy wanted to be just like his dad and he watched everything he'd done. The song continued and the little boy kneeled down at bed time to say a sweet, sincere prayer. He had learned this from his dad, as well. As the performer sang, I had an epiphany: children watch adults. If I want my son to do good things, make good choices, and be a good person, I have to be his example first. AAAAAAlelluia!!
